Austin Technology Council

Building Austin's Technology Community One Company at a Time

Since 1994, the Austin Technology Council has been the principal point of connection for companies from the technology industry that represent a critical mass of businesses in Central Texas. It is our mission to ensure that Austin maintains its world-renowned technology status, and a community that capitalizes on its assets - university-based research, venture funding, a broad array of support services, an entrepreneurial culture and a rich pool of intellectual talent and leadership.

ATC Bringing Forbes to Austin

The Austin Technology Council has nabbed business media giant Forbes as a sponsor for the organization's upcoming luncheons. The council has a partnership agreement with Forbes magazine to sponsor four roundtable luncheons in 2008. The magazine will spotlight Austin's emerging technologies in a special report.

The Power Up Austin luncheons will bring together 175 of Austin's top business and technology leaders to chat about wireless, clean energy, life sciences and digital media. A panel from Forbes will note the discussions and produce a Dec. 8, 2008, report in its American and Asian issues. The report will preview an international technology conference set for 2009.
