Exclusive Focus on Technology Businesses

The Austin Technology Council is a professionally managed, non-profit, member-driven association of businesses and organizations working together to promote and enhance the growth and success of Austin's technology sector. The Austin Technology Council is the only organization that exclusively represents the interests of technology businesses in this area. ATC originated from The University of Texas as the Austin Software Council and changed its name to Austin Technology Council in 2001 to meet the demands of the wireless, clean energy, semiconductor, software and digital media communities.

ATC facilitates over 100 programs a year with focus on best practices, funding, international expansion, management and IT programs. We strive to provide educational exchange, networking, individual development and awareness. Under our umbrella, we host programs for the following verticals:

We also host programs for development on the CEO, CIO and CTO levels as well as international programs focused on expansion and globalization.

ATC presents unique opportunities for our members, such as the 2008 partnership with Forbes focused on highlighting Austin technology, but our goal is truly focused within the "city-gates" of Austin.
